Rakefet Orobona, DVM

Dr. Rakefet Orobona strives to help every pet live their best life, at every stage of life, through genuine partnerships with owners and exceptional veterinary care.

Raised in Boulder, Colorado, she’s been an avid animal lover from a young age and spent her undergraduate years at CU Boulder working with dogs and cats and volunteering with wildlife organizations.

She graduated in 2009 with a double major in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology and Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. She then attended the Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biochemical Sciences and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2013. After graduation, she practiced small animal medicine in south Denver before moving back north and settling down in Erie.

Dr. Orobona is excited to join the team at CCAPM Veterinary Care Center and support all the amazing pets and owners that make this community so special.

In her free time, you can find Dr. Orobona hiking, biking, and camping with her two great kids and wonderful husband.
